cGrate Zambia is a subsidiary of cGrate International. Established in 2009, cGrate Zambia’s mission is to provide convenience by processing payments that connect consumers, merchants and issuers. cGrate has traditionally focused on the high-volume distribution and sale of electronic vouchers (airtime, electricity, water and other utility payments) and provision of mobile banking services.

The company has evolved over the last years to service the growing demand by financial institutions and mobile money operators to digitize their operations by providing points of presence for merchant payments, cash withdrawals, cash deposits, and online payments.

Our role in the market is to bring all issuers into one platform for merchants to serve consumers from the multiple issuers.

Our Flagship Product

543 Konse Konse is a solution that allows individuals and businesses to sell airtime and bills, accept payments, accept deposits and withdrawals and process online and bulk payments and access to short-term loans through a wide range of distribution channels. The channels include, but are not restricted to, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, Merchant App, Mobile (USSD), WEB, Web-services, and ATMs.

Through 543 Konse Konse, cGrate offers a wide range of solutions for corporate customers, including financial institutions, retailers, government institutions, and non-governmental organizations. These solutions encompass mobile banking, agency banking, bulk payments, bulk voucher distribution, merchant payments, custom payment projects, and integration into the National Financial Switch for USSD and SMS aggregation.
